(P.S. By accident I deleted my original post tonight 11.28.2011 and thanks to Susan was able to recover most of it!Thanks Bud!)
Happy Thanksgiving To All!

Thanksgiving has always been a special holiday in order to show my appreciation to those that have molded me throughout the entire year, but also brings back great childhood memories. Currently, I can still reminisce the smell of my kindergarten teacher's "special recipe" of cranberry sauce while my mom would be cooking for days things such as turkey, stuffing, lasagna, ham, corn, brussell sprouts, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, homemade rolls, gravy, along with a myriad of other things not to mention my ritual of eating a full pumpkin pie. The smells, laughter, and cooking that was filled with love and gratitude was beyond my understanding as a kid, but is totally understood today. Thanksgiving is a moment to stop and "smell the roses" while also having the opportunity to tell people how thankful I am to have them in my life. I do this everyday; however, on this holiday, I usually select a handful of people (or less) that have made me a better person throughout the year and I send them a special, unexpected card that demonstrates my appreciation, gratitude, and acknowledgement of who they are in my life and how they have positively impacted me for the year. This may sound cheesy, I know, but I think it is so important to show your love towards those that have helped you through some difficult and/or stressful moments while also sharing the pivotal experiences throughout the year. As a teenager, Thanksgiving meant the last meal of gorging and eating as much as I could. Following this day, I would be in a gym trying out for basketball at 7am in hopes of making varsity and/or the highest squad possible. The anticipation of beginning a new season of basketball coupled with a day of gratitude simulated a perfect experience. Even though I am not getting ready to embark on a new sports season in hopes of a basketball scholarship (did that already), I have the ability to reflect, say thanks, and enjoy an amazing meal - what more could I ask for?
As far as technology I feel as though I can never get caught up despite the time allocated to learn. I am a big advocate of quotes since they are quick to read yet quite profound. Attached you will see a slideshare of the combination of technology and education. Education and Technology Quotes

Here are a few videos that may give you background to communicate, colloborate, and develop ideas in any work arena - schools or business.
